Experience Required:

Compensation:

Controller, Full time Exempt

Description:
Full-time, exempt position, primarily day shift may occasionally be asked to work an evening. The Controller is responsible for the daily operations of the general accounting department. Accounting responsibilities include, but are not limited to, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries and balancing, monitoring of cash and investments, audit and cost report schedule preparation, preparing monthly financials, budget preparation, analytical reporting and charge master coordination.
Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. Minor in Business and/or CPA designation preferred. At least two years experience in health care (preferable Hospital) work setting using budgeting tools and financial analysis required. Knowledge of cost report reimbursement is preferred. Experience in the use of MS Excel, Outlook and Word required. Knowledge of report writing software preferred Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead a team and make presentations before groups. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and focused amid constant interruptions in a fast paced environment is required.

Health Data Analyst, Full Time

Description:
Full time position, day shift, 40 hours per week. Develops and maintains clinical software applications. Understands and supports clinical work processes. Creates, interprets and maintains clinical databases. Must be able to communicate effectively, coordinate multiple duties simultaneously, be able to independently solve information service related issues. Understand interactions between clinical areas and their rolls within the hospital. Basic computer skills are required along with general knowledge in report writing for various areas of the hospital.
Experience Required:

Paramedic Specialist, Full time

Description:
Full-time, rotating, 12 hour shifts, 72 hour minimum per two week pay period. Includes up to and beyond 72 hours on-call, must be able to report to the hospital EMS department within 20 minutes. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting, including the evaluation, treatment and transport of injured and/or ill adult, pediatric and newborn patients. In hospital setting, assists Registered Nurse in providing care to adult and pediatric patients.
Experience Required:
Certified to practice as a Paramedic Specialist in the State of Iowa. Possession of current State of Iowa drivers and chauffeurs license. Acceptable driving record. Must be ACLS, BLS, PALS certified. Knowledge of basic arrhythmia and interpretation. Certification in NRP, PHTLS or BTLS preferred. Hospital-based ambulance service experience preferred.
Compensation:
Base wage for Paramedic $13.38 and Paramedic Specialist $13.71 per hour. Wage credit based on experience and union contract. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour and third shift differential of $1.50 per hour.

Serves as a patient advocate and a liaison between ancillary departments, physicians and community resources. Will provide for patient care within the Emergency Department, Special (Intensive) Care Unit and Cardiac Rehab.
Experience Required:
Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Iowa. BLS and ACLS verification. Minimum of one-year experience as a Registered Nurse. Critical care, emergency nursing experience preferred. Complete TNCC course within 12 months of employment. Knowledge of basic arrhythmia interpretation. PALS verification within 12 months of employment.

Respiratory Practitioner, PRN Casual

PRN-Casual position, day and night shifts, 12-36 hours per 2 week pay period. Flexible schedules considered please inquire. Responsible for direct and indirect respiratory care of the patients assigned during a given period of time. Cares for patients of all ages. Works cooperatively with other members of the healthcare team.
Experience Required:
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory. Upon graduation become Nationally Certified and/or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist. Verified in BLS. Licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must have an Iowa driver's license. Must maintain a driving history acceptable to the Hospital's insurance carrier.
