Description:

Part-time position, Primarily EVENING shift with some rotation to other shifts. Weekends and holidays required. Performs all aspects of telecommunication from within and outside of the hospital. Gathers personal information to admit patients to the hospital. Performs receptionist duties in directing patients, visitors and others to the appropriate areas. |

Experience Required:

Must be able to speak, hear and understand the English language. Must display strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a high level of alertness. Must have computerized data entry experience. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and public is required. |

Compensation:
|
$9.73 per hour entry level with no experience - wage credits based on experience. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour and third shift differential of $1.50 per hour. |

Description:

Full time, rotating shifts, some on-call and weekends required. The main function will be to assist in Central Sterile Department. May also scrub for surgery and assist in endoscopy as needed. Responsible for supply inventory in the Surgical department. A clinically competent LPN or CST who works under the supervision of the registered nurse in delivering safe and effective care to the patient during the preoperative and/or intraoperative period. Effectively interacts with patients and health care team members, while maintaining the surgical department standards. |

Experience Required:
|
LPN - Graduate of a state approved nursing program and licensed in the State of Iowa. CST - Must be a graduate of an accredited school or Surgical Technology program. Must have a current CST certification per the Liaison Council of Certification for Surgical Technologists. Must be current in and maintain BLS certification. |

Compensation:
|
LPN, $12.61 - $18.26 or CST, $12.26 - $17.75 per hour based on experience. Shift differential $1.00 per hour evening shift and $1.50 per hour night shift. |

Full-time, rotating, 12 hour shifts, 72 hour minimum per two week pay period. Includes up to and beyond 72 hours on-call, must be able to report to the hospital EMS department within 20 minutes. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting, including the evaluation, treatment and transport of injured and/or ill adult, pediatric and newborn patients. In hospital setting, assists Registered Nurse in providing care to adult and pediatric patients. |

Experience Required:

Certified to practice as a paramedic in the State of Iowa. Possession of current State of Iowa drivers and chauffeurs license. Acceptable driving record. Must be ACLS, BLS, PALS certified. Knowledge of basic arrhythmia and interpretation. Certification in NRP, PHTLS or BTLS preferred. Hospital-based ambulance service experience preferred. |

Compensation:

Entry level Paramedic $12.72 and Paramedic Specialist $13.04 per hour increased by 3% for every year of qualified experience. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour and third shift differential of $1.50 per hour. |

Description:
|
Physician Assistant will have responsibility for the daily management of selected hospitalized patients and will be under the supervision of the Medical Director. PA will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to develop and coordinate a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of patients and their families. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required. Knowledge of current literature and a commitment to continued learning are also required. The PA as a member of the primary care team will be responsible for: Clinical Responsibilities: 1. Provide direct care, counseling and teaching to hospitalized patients. PA will also have opportunity to assist surgeons in urology and orthopedic procedures. 2. Orders, interprets and evaluates appropriate lab and diagnostic tests to assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. 3. Arranges for appropriate plan of care and follow-up based on outcome of diagnostic, lab and physical assessment findings. 4. Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organization and regulatory policies and procedures. 5. Records pertinent patient care findings in the medical record in a timely manner. 6. Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested. |

PRN Casual position, rotating shifts with shared on-call time. Hours will very per pay period. We utilize a weekend package program to cover weekends, an occasional weekend may be requried. The main purpose of a Radiologist Technologist with certification in General Radiography is to produce the best quality radiographs on any age patient, in a caring and timely manner. CT and mammography experience preferred but not required. Abdominal/pelvic ultrasound experience a plus but not required. |

Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory. Upon graduation become Nationally Certified and/or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist. Verified in BLS. Licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must have an Iowa driver's license. Must maintain a driving history acceptable to the Hospital's insurance carrier.
