Part-time position, Rotating shifts normally scheduled 4pm to 9pm with flexibility to work other shifts. Performs all aspects of telecommunication from within and outside of the hospital. Gathers personal information to admit patients to the hospital. Performs receptionist duties in directing patients, visitors and others to the appropriate areas. |

Experience Required:
|
Must be able to speak, hear and understand the English language. Must display strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a high level of alertness. Must have computerized data entry experience. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and public is required. |
|
Compensation:
|
$9.27 per hour entry level with no experience - wage credits based on experience. Guaranteed wage increase of 3% on July 1, 2008. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour and third shift differential of $1.25 per hour. |

Certified Nursing Assistant/Telemetry Tech

Description:

Full-time, Day/Evening rotation. Provides patient care activities to assist nursing personnel in the care of patients. As Telemetry Tech will monitor cardiac monitoring system and keep nurse apprised of patient's cardiac rhythm. |

Experience Required:
|
Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Course. Registered in the State of Iowa. Must be verified in BLS within 3 months of hire. Must take Telemetry monitoring class and pass final exam with a score of 90%.

Compensation:
|
Entry level $9.37 per hour increased by 3% for every year of qualified experience. Guaranteed wage increase of 4% effective July 1, 2008. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour.

Full-time, rotating, 12 hour shifts with 12 hours on-call. Provides advance emergency care in pre-hospital setting, including the evaluation, treatment and transport of injured and/or ill adult, pediatric and newborn patients. In hospital setting, assists Registered Nurse in providing care to adult and pediatric patients. |

Experience Required:
|
Certified to practice as a paramedic in the State of Iowa. Possession of current State of Iowa drivers and chauffeurs license. Acceptable driving record. Must be ACLS, BLS, PALS certified. Knowledge of basic arrhythmia and interpretation. Certification in PHTLS or BTLS preferred. Hospital-based ambulance service experience preferred. |

Entry level Paramedic $12.47 and Paramedic Specialist $12.78 per hour increased by 3% for every year of qualified experience. Guaranteed wage increase of 4% effective July 1, 2008. Second shift differential of $1.00 per hour and third shift differential of $1.50 per hour. |

Licensed to practice in the State of Iowa.
Must be verified in BLS.
Must be telemetry trained. |

Must have Basic EKG Monitoring and Cardiovascular class; prefer advance classes/experience.
Must have minimum of one year hospital experience in nursing and demonstrated competency.
CEU's reflect pertinent classes for Unit.
Must be verified in BLS, ACLS. |
