Sibling Classes for new brothers and sisters

Sibling Classes for future big brothers and sisters are held one Saturday morning per month at Hamilton Hospital, Webster City, for children ages 3-8 and their parents. The purpose of the Sibling Class is to assist the expectant family during the time of transition. Individualized class scheduling is also offered on an as-needed basis for younger or older siblings to allow for the presentation of topics to vary according to the age of the sibling.

The next three classses will be held Saturday, June 12, July 24, and Aug. 14, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the hospital's third floor Education Center. The class is free of charge and includes three 1/2 hour sessions: baby care basics demonstration/discussion; an OB department tour, video and snack time; and free time at play and learning stations.

Parents or grandparents are encouraged to attend with children.
